County approves funds for Del Rio!

Jan, 2024 In a 5-0 vote, the Board of Supervisors of Yavapai County approved $1.5 million to be used towards the purchase of Del Rio land by Arizona State Parks. The funds came from interest earned by the County on its share of federal funds through the American Rescue Plan Act. Supervisor and Board Chair Craig Brown is a champion of this project and said "Yavapai County has been happy to participate with technical assistance and project funding for this important historic preservation project, which will bring recreational opportunities and economic development to the area."
